Horta, a pretty harbour town of bars and cafes and a marina, is five minutes walk away.

Accommodation is in the main wing or in several traditionally styled buildings around a central lawn .

All the 114 air-conditioned rooms and suites all having private bathrooms with hairdryer. The rooms have air conditioning, cable TV, telephone, mini bar and many have a balcony. The executive rooms also have a socket for a PC modem.

In the main building there is a bar and a restaurant with panoramic views. A terrace has marvelous views out across the water to the island of Pico and its spectacular volcanic peak.
