Since that time is has remained in the ownership of the same family who look after the surrounding agricultural estate.

There are five guest bedrooms in a separate part of the house to that used by the family.

Each bedroom has a private bathroom.

Home made breakfast is served in the traditional Azorean kitchen which is full af the atmosphere of a style of living in days now passed.

Guests have the use of a cosy living room. There is a terrace with fine views of the mountains and the sea and also beautiful gardens surrounding the house where croquet can be played.

The owner will direct you to the best walks in the area or arrange bicycle or horse riding excursions in the beautiful area. Alternatively the is swimming in the clear waters of the nearby bay of playing golf on the islands course.

While staying, ask the owner to show you the beautiful XVII century dining room..

The property also has a one bedroom and a two bedroom apartment. As these include a kitchenette, the price does nor include breakfast described above.

Reservations must me for a minimum of three days.
